Value of Canes' Orlov & DeAngelo drops by $0.5M

Carolina Hurricanes defensemen Dmitry Orlov and Tony DeAngelo, who signed contracts as UFA this summer, have started the 2023-24 season with a decline.

Orlov decreased his Value by $349 265 or 8.6% to $3 709 577 while his contract is worth $7.75 million AAV.

DeAngelo decreased his Value by $138 871 or 3.7% to $3 668 014 while his contract is worth $1.675 million AAV.

Orlov recorded the worst result among all NHL players, whose Value is over $3M, in terms of relative Value progress.

By the way, they have the worst plus-minus in the team (Orlov has -11 and DeAngelo does -5).
